A Unique View of
The 2024 SOF Week Campus

Hovermap is a unique product that allows the rapid capture of rich 3D data and 360-degree images in challenging GPS-denied areas to aid decision support, mission planning, Sensitive Site Exploration, CBRNe operations, and more.
It provides both GPS-denied autonomy and lidar mapping in a single device. When mounted to a compatible drone or UGV, it uses the lidar data to provide autonomous navigation in GPS-denied areas beyond line-of-sight and communication range while streaming a live 3D map to the operator for situational awareness and mission planning.
The rich lidar data is stored onboard and post-processed to generate accurate 3D maps of the environment. It can easily be removed from the drone or UGV via quick release and used as a handheld or backpack-mounted lidar scanner. This versatility makes it suitable for data capture almost anywhere.
Hovermap was first developed for the underground mining market, where it is used daily to map inaccessible areas in hundreds of mines around the world. It is now being used for Defence and Public Safety applications.
The video shows a 3D map generated by walking with Hovermap for 45 mins inside and outside the Tampa Convention Center during SOF Week 2024.
