Discover the Organizations Supporting the Special Operations Community

The SOF Community Corridor is one of the most meaningful areas of the SOF Week exhibition, bringing together dozens of non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting the Special Operations Forces community.

Located in the lower level of the Tampa Convention Center, this space highlights organizations working every day to serve SOF operators, veterans, and their families through programs focused on health, transition, education, family support, and community engagement.

Applications for the 2026 SOF Week SOF Community Corridor are now Closed!

The SOF Community Corridor is a flagship feature of the SOF Week Exhibition, spotlighting the vital role non-profit organizations play in strengthening and sustaining the Special Operations Forces (SOF) community. This dedicated area showcases the diverse missions, programs, and innovations that support every facet of the SOF ecosystem.

Eligible non-profits had the opportunity to apply for complimentary tabletop space located in the lower level of the Tampa Convention Center, providing direct access to thousands of influential attendees, decision-makers, and partners. This is a powerful platform to elevate your mission, forge meaningful connections, and demonstrate your organization’s impact on the global SOF network.

Criteria to Apply in 2026

Eligible organizations must have met the following criteria:

  • Must be a reputable non-profit organization with a clearly defined mission and core activities that serve the SOF community.
  • Organizations must provide clear, accessible information regarding their financial health and good standing. Required documentation at the time of application includes:
  • Most recent IRS Form 990 filing
  • Active State Tax-Exempt Certificate
  • Most recent State Certificate of Incorporation Status
  • Organizations must submit a completed application by the designated deadline.
  • Organizations must have a good reputation and be well-regarded within the SOF and the broader military community.
  • Must sign and adhere to SOF Week Exhibition policies and terms and conditions.

Prioritization of applications will be granted on the following criteria:

  • Organizations that directly or solely serve the Special Operations Forces.
  • Organizations that serve both the SOF and conventional military communities.
  • Organizations serve the SOF community, the conventional military, and veterans.
  • The number of members served annually.
  • Organizations headquartered or serving the Tampa Bay area.

Important Deadlines

  • 10 OCT 25: SOF Community Corridor application form live
  • 23 DEC 25: Application deadline 
  • 14 JAN 26: Official notification to all applicants regarding acceptance status or deferral to future opportunities
  • 27 JAN 26: Deadline to accept or decline the opportunity

  • (2) Chairs

GSOF Gives Back: Non-Profit Round Robin

One of the highlights of the corridor is the GSOF Gives Back Non-Profit Round Robin, where selected organizations share their missions in a series of rapid-fire presentations. The Global SOF Foundation is proud to provide $45,000 for the Top 3 winners of our Non-Profit Round Robin.
WHEN: Thursday, 21 May, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
WHERE: 118-119, Tampa Convention Center

Each participating nonprofit delivers a three-minute pitch to the audience, highlighting its work supporting the SOF community.
Attendees then play a direct role in the outcome — voting live to determine which organizations receive GSOF Gives Back donations.

This interactive session gives attendees the chance to:

  • Hear powerful stories from organizations serving the SOF community
  • Discover impactful programs and initiatives
  • Participate directly in supporting the organizations making a difference

Voting takes place in person at SOF Week, so attendees are encouraged to attend the session and help decide the recipients.
Session details will be announced in the SOF Week agenda and mobile app.
